The Palmetto Parrot Head Club is sad to hear of the passing of Jimmy Buffett. Jimmy’s family posted an announcement on Instagram:

Inspired by Jimmy’s story telling the Palmetto Parrot Head Club was founded in 1997. Many of us will shed a tear today over his passing but I believe those tears will be followed by a thousand smiles. Each of us remembering the stories we could tell of the adventures Jimmy’s lyrics have given each us.
