“A Pirate’s Bountiful Christmas”
The Palmetto Parrot Club will once again participate in the annual West Metro Chamber of Commerce “Holiday Parade of Lights” Christmas Parade. The parade is this Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 5:30 pm. This is a lot of fun and for several years we have won best float in the Civic/Non Profit category…what can you say about Parrot Heads and lights…we shine!
Our theme will be a “Pirate’s Bountiful Christmas”. So plan to be in the parking lot of the Rooster’s Den on Sunday, 12-04-11 between 2:00 and 3:00 PM as we put the final touches on our “Ship”! If you can’t be there at that time, we will be moving into position across the street between 3:00 and 4:00 PM to the “12th Street Left line up” in front of Wentworth Printing…we are float # 54! Just look for our tall yellow mast with the Parrot lookout and the Holiday Spirited Pirates! Wear your best Christmas Pirate outfit and be prepared for a great time!!!
We will be working on the float this Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Larry and Elaine Hoffman’s house. We start decorating at noon so come out and bring any decorations you would like to see added to the “float”…all is welcome! The more that help the more fun we have!!!
