Walk To End Alzheimer’s, Saturday Oct. 19th

Alzheimer’s Association “Walk To End Alzheimer’s”

Greetings to the Phlock,

Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death today in the United States. It’s time to reclaim the future – a future free from this disease. As the team captain for the Palmetto Parrot Head club I am asking, will you join me in this walk?

The Palmetto Parrot Head Club will be participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s this year. This is the single the largest event to raise money and awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s. We will be walking on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Finlay Park, 930 Laurel Street, Columbia, SC 29210. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the walk begins at 10:00 AM.

By joining the PPHC team we can help end this epidemic and show our support for the more than five million Americans living with this disease. We will also be presenting our check to Alzheimer’s for the money we raised at this year’s Fin-Fest.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s largest voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research, and the funds that are raised will go directly to supporting their efforts. The end of Alzheimer’s starts with us. To register, visit our team page.

Fins Up!
